When you are running a wood stove most of the day to heat the house, you can't just wait for the ash to be cold before cleaning it out. The shovel cleans nicely and the lid fits well on the bucket. The wood handle is a nice touch and easier on the hands. The size of the bucket also works well. I didn't give it 5 stars because, well, I just couldn't give 5 stars to a bucket and shovel.
